GardaWorld Cash is looking for a Manager- Internal Audit and compliance for its Canadian Cash Services division.

What you will be doing

• Develop the internal audit plan for GardaWorld branches operating secured transport activities and cash vault services
• Perform operational audits in all branches across Canada (on average one travel a month, potentially more)
• Collaborate with stakeholders in the performance of independent audits
• In charge of continuous testing of internal controls subject to our certifications
• Coordinate and oversee the execution of ISAE 3000 and SOC 2 certification work with branches and external auditors
• Recommend improvements to processes and controls based on the observations and results of audits and ensure that these recommendations are put into practice
• Perform any other related tasks associated with the above responsibilities
• Position reports to the Senior Finance Director, Cash Services

Your profile

• Degree in accounting and/or finance
• Professional CPA designation 
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting and/or finance with required experience in internal or external audit
• Experience with inventory management controls (an asset)
• Experience in ISAE 3000 and SOC 2 certifications
• Excellent in French and English and strong ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Demonstrate diligence, rigor, and methodology in carrying out the function
• Analytical mind, sense of priorities and understanding of issues
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with branches, while fostering their implication and commitment
• Adaptation to a constantly and rapidly changing environment
