Social Media and Community Coordinator

The organization is currently seeking a Social Media and Community Coordinator to join the Marketing and Corporate Communications team. Reporting to the Director of Brand Strategy and Content, the Social Media and Community Coordinator will stimulate the growth of GardaWorld's various brand communities and establish a dialogue between our brands and their audiences on a global scale. With a passion for social media and best practices in community management, the successful candidate shows initiative and creativity while having excellent organizational skills.

RESPONSABILITIES

 

 

  • Participate in the creation and planning of the editorial calendar for the various target audiences and objectives, as well as the daily monitoring of the various social media platforms;
  • Write texts (in French and English) for the various brand contents (social networks, website, etc);
  • Schedule and publish posts on Sprout Social or other tools;
  • Coordinate the production of various content and tools (videos, banners, etc.) and be able to create attractive visuals for social networks and other digital platforms;
  • Interact and moderate GardaWorld's various social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Indeed, Google My Business, etc.) and engage with its communities;
  • Create recruitment and brand awareness advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, under the supervision of the Social Media Strategist;
  • Have an esthetic eye and oversee all material posted on our various social platforms to ensure brand consistency;
  • Support internal teams in managing social media campaigns and content projects;
  • Analyze and report on the results of the various social media and content initiatives ( both organic and paid);
  • Monitor social media and competitive trends to inform and optimize GardaWorld posts;
  • Other related and miscellaneous tasks related to the position.

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

 

  • Background in marketing, communications, or other relevant disciplines/experience;
  • 1-3 years experience as a community manager;
  • Excellent knowledge of social platforms and work tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Perfectly bilingual, English and French, both spoken and written;
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite platforms (Photoshop) an asset;
  • Able to work in CMS for online publishing;
  • Stress management and the ability to prioritize and take initiative;
  • Good communicator, able to work with geographically dispersed teams.
