Ready to suit up as a Casual Security Guard

Are you a security professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys variety in your work? We're looking for adaptable and dependable Security Guards to join our casual team, supporting a range of client sites based on operational needs.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work in different settings, take on diverse assignments, and apply your security expertise wherever it's needed most. Whether conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, or providing excellent customer service, you'll play an important role in maintaining safe and secure environments.

Responsibilities for Casual Security Guard

  • Monitor the premises to ensure security
  • Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
  • Address incidents or potential threats quickly
  • Write detailed reports on events and incidents
  • Control access points and check identification
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
  • Partner with authorities during serious situations

Qualifications for Casual Security Guard

  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid BC Security License
  • Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract - an asset
  • First Aid Certification - an asset 
  • Ability to work/pick up minimum 3 shifts per month
  • Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
  • Physically able to drive, patrol, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Alert, detail-oriented, with strong situational awareness
  • Exceptional customer service skills
