Weekend Overnight Security Guard

We are seeking an experienced Security Guard to join our dynamic, growing team in Orillia, Ontario.  In this role you will showcase your vigilance and attention to detail as you provide a safe and secure environment for our client's assets and property.  Successful applicants will have a background in security or customer service and be able to work the schedule below. As this role will also see you driving a company vehicle, an Ontario G2 or G license is required 

PART TIME WEEKNED DAYS (24 Hrs. per week) 0000-1200

Pay Rate: $20.50/Hour

Please note that all applicants must be able to work both shifts.

What does a Security Guard in Orillia do?

• Plan, direct and ensure the smooth running of operations at the client's site by utilizing onsite computer software and programs. 

• Complete patrols on foot and in company vehicle in all weather 

• Maintain protection systems for fire, theft and other disasters. 

• Ensure the availability of emergency equipment and complete audits of onsite equipment each shift to ensure compliance. 

• Write professional reports and show professional and pleasant attitude for clients, staff and visitors to the site. 

Qualifications to become a security guard in Orillia

• Ontario G or G2 Drivers Licence 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to quickly and efficiently learn dedicated site security programs. 

• Valid security guard license and first aid card 

• Available to work flexible hours  

• Have a clean criminal record  

• Be eligible to work in Canada
