We are hiring! GardaWorld is looking for a security guard to work in Downtown Peterborough that has experience with vulnerable populations; previous tactical guarding experience required. This position is perfect for the security professional that is looking to build a career in security or gain experience towards a career in policing.  Duties range from patrolling, access control, protection of patrons and escalation of illegal activities to authorities. 

SCHEDULES:

Monday to Friday 0700-1500

Monday to Friday 1500-2300

Monday to Friday 2300-0700

PAY RATE: $22.00

  • Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property 

  • Monitor access of entryways and exit points 

  • Conduct preventive surveillance rounds

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Peterborough

  • A valid security guard license and first aid card 

  • Available to work flexible hours 

  • Have a clear criminal background 

  • Be eligible to work in Canada

  • Previous experience in security

  • Experience working with vulnerable populations an asset
