Manager, Security Services

We are looking for a strong candidate that has a background in security and the ideal candidate is someone that knows how to manage staff and client expectations. The manager for this role will need to understand and have ability to create and monitor KPI's, excellent communication skills and understand account management acumen. The candidate will at times need to assist in the field and must have a current security guard license or dual license, possess current First Aid and CPR and must have a full G license with a clean abstract. This position is 40 hours, Monday to Friday dayshift with the expectation that flexibility in hours may be required on occasion based on operational needs. 

Candidates must have a valid Ontario Security Licence

Pay Rate: $23.00/Hour

What does a Security Manager in Peterborough and Lindsay do?

• Plan, direct and ensure the smooth running of operations at the client's site 

• Develop and implement procedures and policies for security operations 

• Maintain protection systems for fire, theft and other disasters 

• Ensure the availability of emergency equipment 

• Make suggestions to improve and optimize the security service 

Qualifications to become a Manager in Peterborough and Lindsay

• 1 to 3 years experience in personnel management in a unionized environment 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 

• REQUIRED - Valid security guard license/Dual license and Standard First aid and CPR 

• REQUIRED - Full G License and ability to drive a company vehicle.

• Available to work flexible hours as needed.

• Have a clean criminal record.  

• Be eligible to work in Canada.
