As a Bank Security Guard, you will help protect clients, employees, and assets by maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring activity within the branch, responding to incidents, and preventing security risks before they escalate.

Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities for Bank Security Guard

Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, fraud, and disruptive behaviour within the bank branch.

Monitor customers, visitors, and the banking floor for suspicious or unusual activity.

Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and customer assistance requests.

Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to ensure the safety of employees, clients, and bank property.

Control access to staff-only and secure areas while verifying visitor and contractor identification.

Complete accurate daily logs, incident reports, and detailed documentation of all security-related events.

Support emergency procedures, including evacuations, alarms, and coordination with police, fire, or EMS when required.

Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting clients and providing a safe, welcoming environment.
Qualifications for Bank Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid BC security license
- First aid certification - an asset
- Strong report writing skills
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
