As a Bilingual Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Responsibilities for Bilingual Security Guard

  • Customer service duties like welcome and guide visitors
  • Manage access control
  • Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks
  • Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
  • Perform computer tasks
  • Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
  • Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
  • Answer questions in person or by phone

Qualifications for Bilingual Security Guard

  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) with strong communication skills
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Saskatchewan Security Guard Training Certificate (we can help you get this)
  • Proven customer service experience, with the ability to welcome, assist, and guide visitors professionally
  • Experience with access control and site security procedures
  • Ability to conduct foot patrols and identify potential risks or safety concerns
  • Comfortable using computers and security systems (reporting tools, access systems, etc.)
  • Knowledge of incident response procedures, including First Aid and coordination with emergency services
  • Strong report writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and respond to inquiries in person and over the phone
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
