Responsibilities for Power Facility Security Guard
- Welcome and assist visitors, verify identification,issue and provide clear guidance while maintaining excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
- Control access at entry and exit points using electronic systems or physical checks to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of stairwells, hallways, and common areas to establish presence, identify risks, and maintain order.
- Conduct Mobile Patrols
- Monitor and document all security systems and CCTV for suspicious activity or operational issues, escalating concerns when needed.
- Inspect and report maintenance needs related to security equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Respond promptly to incidents or complaints, provide first aid when required, and coordinate effectively with emergency responders.
- Secure identified doors, ensure proper locking procedures, and enforce property regulations and city by-laws at all times.
- Protect client assets against theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other safety concerns by remaining alert and proactive.
- Document all activities, including incident reports, maintenance logs, and daily reports, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of concerns.
- Foster positive staff relationships and act as the first point of contact during emergencies to ensure a coordinated and professional response
