Paris region / with regular travel across France and as required elsewhere where the company has existing and prospective clients, operations and business interests.

Contact and Cooperation:

Internally: Travel Security Senior Leadership Team, Sales Team, Commercial Support Team (CST), Finance.

Externally: existing clients, prospective clients, Government authorities, competitors

Job Outline:

The purpose of this role is to identify, shape and close new business for GardaWorld Travel Security primarily in France and as directed by the VP, France, and in so doing expand the number of strategic relationships in client organisations to enable subsequent organic growth from within those accounts. 



The incumbent will develop a professional network across France and leverage this network to develop new business with new clients and expand business with existing clients. In addition it is expected that the incumbent will establish a network throughout client organisations across multiple countries, initiate sector and geographic based research and take this research into the sales cycle.


Specific responsibilities include;


  • Support the development and growth of new and existing commercial relationships and strategies;
  • Develop and grow business development pipeline, with profitable and achievable business targets in line with business targets;
  • Support the business development cycle through active research and dissemination of new potential opportunities through online resources and existing sources (clients, field personnel);
  • Develop and maintain existing relationships;
  • Ownership of specific strategic client relationships;
  • Regular business development and sales meetings;
  • Regular delivery of new opportunities and assisting the progression of the opportunity through the market;
  • Further GardaWorld brand and identity through regular networking events and meetings;
  • Maintain a close eye on competitors, identify and interpret market trends in order to lead the development and implementation of new business initiatives.


  • Gravitas and a natural ability to create relationships at a senior level with diverse international customers across multi-national companies, governments and international organisations;
  • A natural sales instinct; the appointee is highly motivated by sales and key performance metrics and willing to accept the challenge of achieving growth;
  • Highly developed communication skills – ability to convey complex information to a wide ranging audience.

As directed and delegated by the VP, France, Travel Security, and per GardaWorld Authority Matrix.


Accountable to the VP, France, Travel Security for the responsibilities stated in this job description, monitored and managed through the mid-year and annual performance review and supported through the monitoring of their KPIs.


  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in business development delivering service solutions inside and/or outside client organisations;
  • Knowledge of Travel Security industry is a plus but other relevant experiences will be considered.
  • Experience identifying and exploiting new business opportunities;
  • Experience developing and presenting commercial proposals to clients;
  • Educated to Masters degree level;
  • Native in French and fluent in English.
