Armed Guard

   
    We are currently looking for on-call Armed Guards for our Rouyn-Noranda satellite branch.

        What you’ll be doing

• Collect and deliver securities to our clients
• Ensure a safe environment for your team and your customers when you travel
• Supply ATMs at various financial institutions
• To offer a quality service to our customers
• Ensure that the routes and schedules established for delivery are respected
• Drive the armoured vehicle safely while respecting the highway safety code
• Load and unload the armoured vehicle at the branch
• Conduct operations in accordance with GardaWorld procedures and regulations
• Complete the various reports and roadmaps
• All other related tasks

    
       What we’re looking for

• Secondary school diploma (DES) or an equivalence recognised by the Ministry of Education
• Non-restricted AND Restricted Firearms Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) (* see bottom of posting for procurement procedure)
• Minimally available on Sundays and Thursdays or Fridays to work on a flexible schedule and on call (day-evening-night)
• Driving licence class 5
• Willingness to take the necessary steps to obtain a Learner's Licence Class 3 mention F during the hiring process (maximum 3 points of inaptitude on the driving record)
• Good team spirit, analytical skills and customer service
• Good observation, organizational skills, as well as a good capacity for learning and adaptation

How to obtain the required PAL?

You must first take the CCSMAF (non-restricted weapon) and CCSMAFAR (restricted weapons) training courses
