As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

• Patrolling critical areas to identify and prevent suspicious activity.
• Reacting quickly to threats or incidents and documenting all actions taken.
• Partnering with law enforcement during serious incidents when required.
• Actively monitoring the sales floor to deter and prevent theft.
• Following the five-step shoplifting observation process before any intervention.
• Intervening at store exits to recover merchandise and issuing verbal trespass notices when applicable.
• Prioritizing deterrence and recovery when apprehension is not possible.
• Supporting with de-escalation and public disturbance situations.
• Fully complying with all company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First Aid certification is required.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Excellent customer service skills to provide a professional and positive experience.
• Ability to remain standing and walk throughout the shift, including during training or on-site duties.
