As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments at this retail store

Permanent Schedule (must be able to work all shifts):

• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Responsibilities for Tactical Retail Security Guard

• Maintain a strong, visible presence within the store.
• Conduct regular foot patrols, focusing on identified “hot spots” for theft.
• Apply de-escalation techniques when interacting with aggressive individuals.
• Communicate via onsite radio, following all protocols.
• Assist store staff in handling potential retail theft incidents in accordance with client policies.
• Proactively alert staff to suspicious activity or potential theft.
• Complete detailed incident reports at the end of each shift.
• Escalate issues promptly to the duty manager.
• Liaise with security personnel and law enforcement when required

Qualifications for Tactical Retail Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Can provide a clean criminal background check
• Security experience is an asset
• Confident individual who will be able to deal with aggresive individuals and be able to de-escalate situations that arrise 
• Saskatchewan Security Guard Training certificate (we can help you get this)
• First aid certification as asset 
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift 
• Critical thinking
