Office Manager Scarborough

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Office Manager will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. The Office Manager is responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, office staff supervision and task delegation.
The position requires an energetic professional, who does not mind wearing multiple hats.
Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

QUALIFICATIONS
 Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
 Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
 Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
 Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
 Excellent computer skills: must be conversant with Windows, Word, MSOffice, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel and LightSpeed.
 Must have experience in dealing with and solving business problems in a multifunctional environment.
 Understanding of basic management tools and techniques.
 Understanding and experience with the implementation and management of an Employee Retention Program.
 Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The incumbent will operate in a normal office environment; as well as most field locations and client sites in order to fulfill duties and responsibilities. Sensory attention/mental stresses: mental stresses are primarily a result of the pressures of deadlines. Subject to long hours causing fatigue through extensive administration duties and necessary business requirements.

STRUCTURE AND RELATIONSHIP
The position reports directly to the Director, Business Administration & Compliance.
This position deals with various personnel, such as Recruiting, Account Managers, Operations Managers, Site Account Directions, Field Personnel, etc
