As an Escort Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment across the aerodrome and terminal areas while supporting daily operations and emergency response.

• Training rate: $16.35/hour - 24 hours of paid training
• Part Time, Guaranteed 20hrs/week with potential for full-time advancement
• 8 Hours Shifts - Monday to Friday and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities for Escort Security Guard

• provide security escort duties to SJIAA or tenants, primarily related to construction activities
• Perform apron 1 inspections, enforcing all TC and AA regulations
• Issue AVOP tickets for infractions
• Fenceline inspections
• Groundside inspections (as required) – including parking lots
• Terminal front patrols / enforcements (additional resource as needed)
• Control Access points to restricted areas of the Airport

Qualifications for Escort Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic First Aid certification
• Ability to obtain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) and Transport Canada (TC) security clearance in a timely manner
• Ability to obtain an AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit) in a timely manner
• Availability for on-call shifts, including extended hours
