What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths. 

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential, as you will be required to remain active throughout your shift. The position involves frequent walking and patrolling the Village Mall environment, monitoring the property, and responding to security-related situations as required.

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Check identification and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Removing Loiters from site
• Foot Patrol of the mall

Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Driver's license
• First aid certification - {required} 
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift 
• Report Writing Skills
• Ability to deal with tactical situations
