Responsibilities for Transport Security Guard

• Safely transport and escort individuals between designated facilities and locations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and security checks.
• Search individuals, luggage, and vehicles in accordance with established procedures.
• Transport and safeguard personal belongings, luggage, valuables, and other authorized property.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and changing situations during transportation.
• Complete detailed logs, documentation, and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and facility personnel.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, security, and operational readiness.
• Follow all established security, transportation, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable transportation and highway safety requirements.
• Maintain a professional and respectful approach in all interactions.
• Perform other duties related to secure transportation and security operations as required.

Qualifications for Transport Security Guard

• Valid BC Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid Level 1 (OFA1) - an asset 
• Advanced Security Training (AST) – an asset
• Must have resided in Canada for the past 5 years
• Unrestricted Class 4 BC Drivers License
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• High school diploma or Canadian equivalent (proof of education required).
• Able to pass Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Strong communication and customer service skills
