As a Railway Station Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service , Patrolling and De-escalation of situations ,since you will be working with people all shift, in Railway Station environment

Responsibilities for Railway Station Security Guard
- Conduct exterior and interior patrols of the premises.
- Monitor and manage access to the site.
- Act promptly and appropriately in emergency situations.
- Interact with individuals in a friendly and professional manner.
- Be a visible deterrent to vagrancy, vandalism, and loitering by staying vigilant and patrolling key areas regularly.
- Maintain a friendly but professional demeanor at all times.
- Perform any other duties as required.
- Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
- Manage access control
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
Qualifications for Railway Station Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
- High School Education or equivalent
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Excellent Computer Skills for reporting and monitoring
