What does a Security Guard in Thunder Bay do?

Ensure the safety of people and property and keeping the peace
Enforce safety procedures and standards
Escort and assist anyone as needed
Intervene during an emergency or crisis
Operate video surveillance equipment

Qualifications to become a Security Guard at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre

A valid security guard license and first aid card
Be eligible to work in Canada
Handcuff/Use of Force Certificate - or ability to obtain one
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training
Excellent communication and customer service
