Site Manager
Ensuring Safety and Security in a Healthcare Environment
Position Overview:
The Onsite Security Supervisor at a hospital is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of all patients, staff, and visitors within the hospital premises. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of security protocols in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervision and Management of the Security Team
· Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the facility checking in on each department and assisting where needed.
· Incident Response: Respond promptly to any security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
· Scheduling: Completing schedules accordingly, delegating specific roles and duties to each team member.
· Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security incidents, activities, and personnel movements within the hospital.
· Reporting: Review and maintain a detailed record of all incident reports submitted and to provide follow ups if needed.
· Customer Service: Maintain a good relationship with the client and address any concerns they may have in a timely matter, or any other security related matters the staff may bring to your attention.
· Training and Development: Coordinate required training for site specific duties needed to complete the job adequately and successfully.
· Public Relations: Must have good communication skills with the public, maintaining a professional, friendly and compassionate demeaner.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Experience in security supervision, preferably within a healthcare or hospital environment.
· Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in using security technology and equipment.
· Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as patrolling, standing for long periods, and responding to emergencies.
Working Conditions:
The Onsite Security Supervisor will work within the hospital premises, which include patient areas, administrative offices, and external grounds. This position may require working in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure round-the-clock security coverage.
