Responsibilities for Control Centre Operator
-
Create and manage schedules using scheduling software for a designated portfolio of accounts
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules across assigned sites

Fill all open shifts with appropriately classified guards, ensuring proper coverage

Confirm and approve billing and payroll for your portfolio of accounts

Investigate and resolve reported payroll discrepancies in coordination with relevant departments

Monitor and manage staffing levels, including additional coverage requirements

Minimize costs related to overtime, training, and show pay through efficient scheduling

Follow all scheduling instructions and procedures as outlined by management

Administer and process coverage change orders as needed

Work collaboratively with different departments within the control centre to provide ad hoc operational and administrative support
Qualifications for Control Centre Operator
- Minimum of Grade 12 education with 1-2 years work experience, with Microsoft Office and Scheduling software knowledge
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- The incumbent must have excellent interpersonal, organizing and planning skills, knowledge of Windows operating system, and a thorough understanding of the GTA and GardaWorld accounts.
- The individual must be flexible and able to work upon short notice
- Must be available 24/7, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, to work any shift as assigned
- Have a clear criminal background
- Be eligible to work in Canada
- Must be able to work continental rotation
