In this role you will be responsible for receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, operating with various computerized communication devices, and be able to prioritize and dispatch accordingly. What does a Security Guard in Downtown, Toronto do?

• Receive incoming emergency and non-emergency calls from community and non-community members
• Initiate the appropriate response in a timely manner including connecting and transferring the caller to the right person
• Operate with various computerized communication devices and associated equipment to receive, assess and relay information from the public to security personnel in a courteous, professional, and expedient manner
• Remain calm under pressure and be able to multitask during high call volumes from telephone and radio communications
• Be able to prioritize and dispatch accordingly
• Problem solve on the go utilizing tools and training you’ve acquired

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Downtown, Toronto do ?

• A valid security guard license 

• A valid CPR certification recognized by WSIB

• Available to work flexible hours 

• Previous Control Center experience (Minimum of 6 months)
