Your Role

As a High-Profile Security Guard, you’ll represent GardaWorld at a variety of client sites — from retail to corporate — maintaining a secure, professional, and welcoming environment wherever you’re assigned.

You will:

• Deliver professional customer service with a calm, courteous, and solution-focused approach

• Engage proactively with clients, tenants, and the public to foster a safe, respectful environment

• Monitor premises and patrol assigned areas to deter risks and ensure compliance with site procedures

• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies and handle situations with professionalism and composure

• De-escalate conflicts effectively, using communication and judgment to diffuse tension

• Use security technology (computers, phones, CCTV, and reporting tools) to document and manage daily activity

• Collaborate closely with on-site teams, clients, and law enforcement when necessary

What You Bring

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence

• Minimum 1 year of experience, ideally in a commercial or retail security setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — both verbal and written

• Strong customer service and de-escalation abilities

• Proficiency with computers, phones, and electronic reporting tools

• Professional appearance and attitude — reliable, respectful, and dependable

• Full-time availability with 24/7 scheduling flexibility (days, nights, weekends, holidays)

• Valid Ontario G driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (preferred but not mandatory)
