National Portfolio Manager Profile


GardaWorld is currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a National Portfolio Manager to provide overall leadership for a select group of National Accounts.   You will be responsible for the retention, satisfaction, strategic growth and profitability of the accounts within your portfolio.  The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of building strong relationships, resolving issues and driving continuous improvement.  

National Portfolio Manager Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight, management and execution of all contract terms nationally for designated accounts. This includes required training, oversight and maintenance of required records and KPI/MBR/QBR reporting
  • Act as a single point of contact for National client accounts managing any issue escalation and required Corrective Action between client and individual regions and monitor ongoing effectiveness.
  • Ensure consistent service delivery nationally- streamline and create consistency for processes, policies, reporting, etc 
  • Preservation and growth of account revenue- monitor profitability and make strategic adjustments as necessary based on the overall portfolio
  • Drive proactive initiatives and monitor success of implementation of said initiatives (can include process enhancements, value adds, cost savings to client/increased profitability,

National Portfolio Manager Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated successful experience in direct, responsible charge of a business enterprise
  • Strong sales orientation with demonstrated success at building and nurturing relationships  
  • Excellent communication skills at the presentation level; must be able to convey information in a compelling and organized manner;
  • Team player with strong facilitation skills to promote and ensure organizational alignment
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem solving, organization and analytical skills to juggle competing priorities;
  • Strong business acumen and strategic sense
  • In-depth knowledge of the Canadian security industry and associated key market verticals is an asset 
  • CPP and/or CPTED designation or equivalent evidence of security expertise is an asset.
  • Membership in ASIS and other industry associations a definite asset
