As a Post Watch Operator in the Regional Operations Centre, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and presence of on-site staff for GardaWorld, while maintaining a positive and supportive environment for the employees. You will help ensure all required coverage requests are fulfilled, providing operational oversight and enhancing customer confidence.

This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension.

What does a Post Watch Operator in GTA do?

  • Ensure employees are present and safe on-site, ensuring timely arrivals to their posts
  • Make outgoing calls to employees to confirm their presence and current state
  • Ensure employees complete safety checks and escalate emergencies or issues as needed
  • Monitor employees' phone applications and escalate issues to the appropriate parties
  • Provide operational oversight and assurance to ensure required coverage requests are fulfilled
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications to become a Post Watch Operator in GTA:

  • Have a clear criminal background 

  • Be eligible to work in Canada 

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to create a positive work environment and make decisions according to business needs

  • Emergency management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with company scheduling systems

  • Self-motivated and able to achieve goals

  • Able to commit to a non-routine business week schedule, averaging 42 hours/week

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality as per company standards
