Regional Quality Assurance Manager

JOB OVERVIEW

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Partner with interdepartmental and cross-regional teams to proactively address areas of concern and achieve cost effective solutions
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators and lead the QA team to achieve departmental and client expectations and performance targets
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and provide follow-up, positive and constructive feedback
  • Set goals and allocate tasks/resources to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage the Quality Assurance (QA) team and facilitate team meetings to ensure understanding of assignments
  • Coach direct reports regularly and ensure all team members are provided with resources to complete assigned tasks
  • Establish and maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with clients and stakeholders
  • Analyze and interpret data and implement assignments focused on achieving targeted business objectives
  • Identify, analyze and escalate non-compliance trends
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for all QA related inquiries
  • Conduct performance reviews, maintain record of progress and issues
  • Promote open, timely and frequent communication with all team members
  • Provide value-based analysis focusing on continual improvement and strategize proactively to ensure profitability
  • Assist and support other departments as operationally required
     
     
    EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
     
  • College and/or University Degree in Management or other related discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional work experience in Quality Assurance or related discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook, in particular)
  • Experience in a management role
  • Knowledge and/or previous experience in Aviation Industry is an asset
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and be pro-active
  • Strong strategic development and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
  • Previous experience in Unionized environment is an asset
