Account Director Responsibilities

Oversee daily and long-term security operations across multiple campus locations, ensuring reliable, high-quality service delivery.

Lead, mentor, and motivate a large team of tactical security guards and supervisors.

Build strong client relationships through regular communication, performance reviews, and strategic planning meetings.

Ensure 24/7 service coverage by managing staffing, scheduling, and overtime control.

Supervise scheduling staff and proactively address open hours or absenteeism to maintain operational continuity.

Coordinate onboarding, refresher, and specialized training to maintain compliance and professional excellence.

Monitor and analyze operational data — including attendance, incidents, training completion, and overtime trends — to identify opportunities for improvement.

Ensure compliance with GardaWorld policies, client protocols, and all applicable regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams including Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Billing to ensure seamless operational delivery.

Represent GardaWorld professionally in all client meetings and community safety initiatives.
Account Director Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in a management prefered with minimum 1 year expereicne working in supervisory capacity within the security industry.

Proven ability to oversee daily operations and manage frontline teams effectively.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience handling performance and HR matters.

Excellent client relationship management and presentation abilities.

Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable under pressure.

Experience in public sector, campus, or large multi-site environments is an asset.

Must be eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid Ontario Security License and CPR
