What does a Commercial Security Guard in Toronto do?

• Greet, inform, direct and escort various users and visitors 

• Provide assistance and evacuate the building(s) in case of emergency 

• Apprehend offenders and turn them over to the appropriate authorities 

• Detect, question and remove undesirable persons 

• Control access and exit of equipment 

• Participate in the transport or escort of valuables

Qualifications to become a Commercial Security Guard in Toronto

• A valid Ontario security guard license

• WISB approved first aid card 

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a security guard 

• Available to work full-time overnight hours

• Be eligible to work in Canada
