In a Security Guard role, you’ll be the first point of contact, helping ensure their safety and creating a great first impression. No two days are the same, and you’ll gain real-world experience in customer service, communication, and emergency response, valuable skills for any future career.  

We can offer full‑time work and during the summer, then switch to part‑time or casual hours once school starts, we’re flexible and can support your schedule.

Responsibilities of a Security Guard  

• Welcome visitors and check ID badges 

• Manage building access and visitor logs 

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols 

• Monitor security equipment and report issues 

• Handle incidents calmly and professionally 

• Write clear, detailed incident reports 

• Provide directions, answer questions, and support tenants 

• Work with emergency responders when needed 

Qualifications for Security Guard  

• Authorized to work in Canada 

• Valid Ontario Security License (available through GardaWorld training) 

• WSIB-approved First Aid Certification (available through GardaWorld training) 

• High school diploma or College experience is a plus! 

• Ability to communicate effectively 

• Good customer service skills 

• Comfortable with basic computer and phone tasks 

• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented 

• Able to commute to within the GTA
