What does a Security Guard in Downtown Toronto do?

• Plan, direct and ensure the smooth running of operations at the client's site 

• Provide training and mentorship to new staff members, creating a team environment 

• Implement and evaluate procedures and policies for security operations 

• Maintain protection systems for fire, theft and other disasters 

• Ensure the availability of emergency equipment 

• Communicate with Account Managers and scheduling to improve day-to-day operations 

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Downtown Toronto

• 1 to 3 years experience in personnel management 

• 1 year of security experience, Security Supervisor experience (asset) 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 

• Valid security guard license and first aid certificate

• Available to work flexible hours  

  • Afternoon and Overnight
