As a Security Supervisor, you will lead a team of guards on a post-secondary campus, located at M5B 1Y2, ensuring security operations run smoothly while delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities for Campus Security Supervisor

Oversee and support security guards in daily operations

Patrol the downtown campus (foot, bike, or vehicle)

Respond to and document incidents, violations, hazards, and maintenance issues

Participate in on-scene emergency response

Enforce the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act of Ontario, and University policies

Engage with the community on safety planning and initiatives

Foster positive teamwork aligned with community policing principles

Build relationships with community members and stakeholders

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Campus Security Supervisor
- Must have 1 year of supervisory experience working in a tactical environment
- Must have Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Must have Valid WSIB Approved Standard First Aid and CPR level C certification
- Must be authorized to work legally in Canada
- Must have experience dealing with the vulenrable sector
- Must have experience dealing with emergency and/or medical situations
- Ability to complete both theory and practical application-based courses with GardaWorld training institute within a 6-month time frame.
- Demonstrated ability to protect confidential information, maintain high professional standards and exercise good judgment and discretion.
- Will have a demonstrated knowledge of company and site policies.
- Excellent people and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office and Google Suite products)
- Completion of recognized basic self-defence training program, Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act powers of arrest.
