GardaWorld is seeking an experienced Site Security Manager to oversee and manage security operations at a large, high-profile campus environment. This leadership role is responsible for day-to-day security program management, coordination with client stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with operational plans, regulatory requirements, and GardaWorld standards.
The Site Security Manager will act as the key point of contact for security-related matters, oversee access control, guest services, and perimeter security, and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of security processes, incident management, and emergency response, with proven experience leading large-scale security teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide overall management and oversight of daily security operations at the site to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Act as the primary point of contact for security inquiries and service requests, escalating issues when necessary.

Oversee delivery of access control, credential management, guest processing, and perimeter security services.

Liaise with client facilities, event, and marketing teams to coordinate event security services.

Escalate risks, threats, and incidents to senior security leadership in a timely manner.

Collaborate with external stakeholders, including emergency services and government agencies, to align security with broader emergency response plans.

Provide regular security awareness training to client employees, promoting best practices and compliance.

Oversee alarm monitoring and maintenance services, ensuring systems are fully functional and issues are promptly reported and resolved.

Manage CCTV and surveillance operations, including continuous monitoring and incident investigation support.

Conduct and document testing of duress, wellness, and assist alarms, reporting results and troubleshooting as needed.

Support investigations of security incidents and report findings in accordance with established guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security management, with oversight of large or complex sites (required)

Valid provincial Security Guard Licence and First Aid/CPR certification (required)

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

In-depth knowledge of security systems, processes, and regulatory requirements

Proven ability to manage incident response, investigations, and emergency procedures

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external emergency services

Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining professionalism
