What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

This position follows a Continental  Night Shift only (1900-0700hrs) and static security duties. Some assignments may require sitting or standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

• Conduct mobile and foot patrols of assigned areas
• Perform static security duties, including monitoring while seated for long periods
• Enforce Trespass to Property Act and apply trespass-with-rights procedures
• Monitor parks, public spaces, and facilities during overnight hours
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies promptly
• Complete detailed incident reports and documentation
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required

Qualifications

• • • Authorized to work in Canada
    • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
    • Valid G2 or G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract (Preferred )
    • First Aid & CPR certification 
    • Continental Night shift only (1900-0700hrs)
    • Ability to sit for extended periods and patrol by foot and vehicle
    • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
    • Must successfully complete Handcuff and Baton training
    • Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills
