As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling a post-secondary educational institute, located at M5B 1Y2.

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard
As a Tactical Security Guard assigned to a sensitive educational environment, you’ll be a key player in maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for staff, students, and visitors.
Duties include:
- Proactively patrolling high-traffic areas by foot
- Responding to incidents and emergencies quickly and effectively
- Enforcing the Criminal Code, Trespass to Property Act, and site-specific regulations
- Observing and reporting suspicious behaviour or safety hazards
- Assisting in medical emergency response and supporting on-site evacuations
- Conducting site checks, verifying identity, and managing access points
- Writing detailed incident reports and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting community engagement efforts to promote safety and awareness
- Collaborating with local law enforcement when required
Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard
- Be Authorized to work in Canada
- Must be Use of Force certified with atleast 1 year Tactical security experience
- Must have valid Ontario Security Guard License

Must have Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification(WSIB Approved)

Must have experience working with Vulnerable population
- Must be able to commute to Downtown Toronto with no onsite parking

Working Knowledge of Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act enforcement

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism

Strong documentation and report-writing abilities

Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for the duration of your shift

Computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Suite)

Self-defence, powers of arrest, or EMR training is considered a strong asset
