As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents

Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License (in good standing)
• Be eligible to work in Canada( Work Permit , PR or Canadian Citizen)
• Minimum 1–2 years of tactical or high-risk security experience (retail, warehouse, or corporate asset protection preferred)
• Proven experience in loss prevention, theft deterrence, and apprehension protocols
• Strong physical presence and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Proficient in conflict de-escalation and non-violent crisis intervention
• Capable of conducting internal/external patrols and covert surveillance
• Excellent report writing, observation, and situational awareness skills
• Must be available for rotating shifts, including weekends and overnights
• CPR/First Aid certification (an asset)
