GardaWorld’s is expanding at a rapid rate, and we are looking to add an energetic security professional (Account Manager) to add to our security services team based out of Ottawa.


Account Manager Mandate:


GardaWorld Account Managers play an important role in the operational structure of the company with responsibility for maintaining and enhancing high profile customer relationships.  They also play a key role in enhancing relationships with our uniform staff, supporting them and working with them to ensure GardaWorld is delivering a high level of service to our clients while creating a positive work environment that supports and develops our staff.


Job description


Reporting to the Branch General Manager you will be responsible for:


  • Enhancing & retaining a high-profile portfolio of accounts through interactive solutions;
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism in the management of clients;
  • Develop and implement plans for operational infrastructure, change management, special projects;
  • Manage continual operational improvement of assigned portfolio;
  • Ensure consistent adherence of corporate standards as well as ISO and COR compliance;
  • Work with the team to ensure budget goals are met or exceeded;
  • Ensure operational efficiencies in branch operations;
  • Mentor and coach Field Managers, Mobile Supervisors and Security Officers with a relentless focus on exceeding customer expectations;
  • Provide subject matter expertise in navigating unique client needs.


Day to Day Tasks


Working in our Ottawa Office, as well as in the field with our clients and staff you will:


  • Act as lead and key contact in customer and field staff relationships;
  • Ensure innovative, creative and effective solutions are delivered to our clients in a timely manner;
  • Build and improve client relationships;
  • Support National Account portfolios and strategic initiatives;
  • Collaborate with other team members, across Canada in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Be knowledgeable of security/risk management concepts and application processes and display a high level of professional and ethical conduct in all interactions with the client, other potential customers and employees.


Job requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or ASIS International certification will be an asset;
  • Minimum 4 years of management experience in the security or related industry;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Customer Relationship Management software;
  • Available for travel throughout Eastern Ontario;
  • Desire to work in a face paced, rapidly developing business unit of an international security company.
