Branch Administrator

We are currently hiring a Branch Administrator for our branch in Vancouver, BC.

As a Branch Administrator, you will be providing clerical support to ensure that deadlines for payroll are met and that all administration matters regarding the branch are completed efficiently.  We are looking for a problem solver with outstanding organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to the Vancouver branch and it's 4 satellite branches (Comox, Nanaimo, Vernon, and Victoria) regarding all payroll and general clerical tasks.
  • Addressing all payroll issues and concerns for employees.
  • Experience dealing with inquiries pertaining to workplace benefits.
  • Maintaining accurate records in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
  • Experience completing all month end billing entries for the branch.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving billing problems.
  • All other front office clerical tasks as required.
  • Maintaining all employee files and ensuring the accuracy of their documents

 

 

Requirements: 

  • 1-2 years experience with payroll, an asset
  • 2 years experience with office administration, an asset
  • Available to work Monday to Friday
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Knowledge of AP and AR – understands basic accounting debits / credits etc.
  • Must be a motivated self starter
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and ability to abide by operational and security policies and procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and make decisions quickly
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work activities
  • Strong teamwork and partnership orientation
  • Strong critical thinking and active listening
