Responsibilities for High Profile Event Security Guard:

• Provide a professional and welcoming security presence at exclusive events and private functions
• Control access by verifying credentials and authorizing entry into secure areas
• Welcome guests while delivering exceptional customer service
• Monitor attendees and event activity to identify potential safety or security concerns
• Assist with VIP arrivals and departures while maintaining a discreet and professional presence
• Maintain orderly crowd movement and support event operations
• Conduct patrols of assigned areas and monitor restricted spaces
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or disruptive behaviour
• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations to supervisors
• Work closely with event organizers, venue staff, and emergency responders when required
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all assignments and guests

Qualifications for High Profile Event Security Guard:

• Valid BC Security Worker Licence
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Clean Driver's Abstract
• Minimum 10 years of residency in Canada
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance
• Basic First Aid certification or higher
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong professionalism and customer service abilities
• Ability to remain calm, confident, and composed in fast-paced environments
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
