Responsibilities for Executive Protection Agent

• Provide a visible, reassuring security presence for executives and staff, while delivering exceptional customer service.T
• Act as a first responder to security threats, including active shooter scenarios, within the client’s office suite
• Monitor and inspect physical security infrastructure; locks, cameras, access control systems to ensure operational integrity.
• Produce detailed, timely reports on security incidents and maintain clear communication with GSPS leadership.
• Assist protective agents in field operations, including advanced walkthroughs, secure transportation, and body coverage.
• Enforce company policies regarding access, photography, and sensitive areas with professionalism and authority.
• Follow GSPS protocols during emergencies, prioritizing the safety of executives, staff, and guests.
• Conduct regular security sweeps and live monitoring of surveillance systems.
• Collaborate with visiting security teams and facilities management to ensure seamless protective operations.

Qualifications for Executive Protection Agent

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid BC Security Worker licence
• Canadian Passport or Permanent Resident Card ( Required )
• BC Driver’s Licence
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to Pass Criminal Background Check (Including Fingerprints if Required)
• Ability to Meet Employer Drug & Alcohol Screening Requirements
• Prior military, law enforcement, or Emergency Response Team (ERT) experience - an asset
• Specialized training in crisis management, emergency management, or incident response - an asset
• CPR / First Aid Certification - an asset
• Canadian Firearms Licence (PAL or RPAL) - an asset
• Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) or equivalent first responder medical certification - an asset
• Familiarity with Corporate and/or Residential Security Technologies, Tools, and Processes - an asset
