As a Retail Security Guard, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe, secure, and positive shopping experience. From conducting patrols to providing excellent customer service, this role calls for alertness, adaptability, and a proactive approach throughout your shift.

• Part-time schedule: Saturday from 12pm until 8pm and Sunday from 11am until 7pm

Responsibilities for Retail Security Guard

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Check identification and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents

Qualifications for Retail Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid BC security license
• Hold a valid AST certificate
• First aid certification - an asset
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
