We are looking for a professional and vigilant Security guard to ensure the safety and security of a hotel property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities for Hotel Security Guard

• Monitor the hotel entrance and maintain a visible security presence

• Greet and acknowledge visitors as they enter and exit the building

• Identify and remove unauthorized or disruptive individuals in a professional manner

• Conduct patrols as directed, covering key areas such as the entrance, back alley/laneway, and parkade

• Use handcuffs only as a last resort when escorting individuals off-site

• Observe and report 

• Ensure continuous lobby coverage 

Qualifications for Hotel Security Guard

• Have a valid  BC security guard license and Advanced Security Training (AST)

• Ability to stand and walk the floor for a 6 – 8-hour period

• Have a valid MOAB certificate (Management of Aggressive Behavior)

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Available to work flexible hours 

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Be eligible to work in Canada
