Responsibilities for Retail Security Guard

• Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property 

• Maintain a high-profile presence at the entrance of the store, greeting customers professionally

• Monitor access of entryways and exit points 

• Conduct preventive surveillance rounds  

• Write and submit detailed and professional daily reports and incident reports

• Point of contact with authorities and emergency services 

Qualifications for Retail Security Guard

• A valid BC security guard license

• Available to work flexible hours 

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Capable of standing/walking for extended periods

• Be eligible to work in Canada
