Cash Vault Services Manager

We are currently hiring a CVS Manager for Victoria, BC.
Your mission at GardaWorld:
Reporting to the Regional CVS Director, you will be in charge of the cash processing team within our Cash Services Division. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the work of your team and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What you will be doing:
- Plan, organize, direct, and control the processing activities of the counting room
- Maintain and improve the quality, profitability, and safety of the services offered and respect production schedules
- Provide direction for the execution of the sector's activities
- Manage expenses according to the budget, both labor and current expenses
- Conduct investigations, as required, in collaboration with internal or external agencies to determine the causes of off-balance and claims
- Participate in the hiring plan for new staff and provide ongoing training to meet workforce needs
- Participate in the disciplinary or grievance process
- Follow-up on the productivity of the different sub-sectors of the department
- Implement action plans to achieve productivity objectives
- Participate in all process optimization initiatives
- Conduct investigations, when necessary, in cooperation with internal or external agencies to determine causes of transportation accidents and to improve safety procedures
- Any other related task

What we are looking for:
- 5+ years’ of management experience (unionized environment an asset)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Health and Safety management experience
- Cash processing experience an asset
- Working knowledge of Workers Compensation reporting process
- Driven by offering exceptional customer service
- Sense of urgency, outstanding communication, and problem solving
- Strong teamwork and partnership orientation
