Job Outline:


Business development

             Support the US team in seeking and winning security and crisis management consultancy opportunities with existing and prospective NYA clients and partners

             Support in the scoping, pricing, management and development of client proposals


Consulting services delivery

             Deploy to client offices and/or in the UK and/or overseas to support in the delivery of NYA’s pre-incident consulting services

             Produce relevant documentation in support of pre-incident consulting services delivery

             Coordinate the deployment and administration of third-party consultants on projects

             Project management of live security risk and crisis management consulting projects


Account management

             Support in account management and client relationship management of existing and new clients

             Maintain accurate accounting records for key clients allocated to you



•             Keep Salesforce and any other platforms used by NYA up to date and accurate as relating to insurer M&B and consulting tasks for the USA

•             Maintain up to date and accurate records for all of your accounts and proposals



             Support the wider Security and Crisis Consulting team as required

             Support the wider NYA and Garda business as required


•             Strong working knowledge of Security Risk Management – Best Practice and Industry Standards

•             Writing and reporting; structures information to meet the needs and understanding of clients, writes clearly, correctly and convincingly.  Avoids jargon and complicated language.

•             Interacting and relationships; communicates effectively with team members and clients, relates well to others with confidence and empathy, builds trusts and responds quickly to needs of others and feedback, remains clam and resourceful during difficult and emotive situations.

•             Principles and values; upholds ethics, applies discretion, demonstrates integrity and accountability, flexibility and motivation to work shift patterns and maintain quality delivery

•             Development: maintains a high level of industry knowledge and awareness of geopolitical and security issues. Able to apply a global perspective to information and incidences and access sources that extend knowledge and analysis beyond traditional open sources.




The Operations Manager is accountable to the Regional Director of Americas (Consulting), NYA for their responsibilities stated in this job description. These responsibilities will be monitored and managed through the company performance management review cycle and regular monitoring of performance against KPIs throughout the year

Core accountabilities are:

•             Delivery of proposals and day-to-day CRM

•             Delivery of consulting services

•             Execution of defined administrative tasks

•             Participation in company performance management cycle


•             Authority to receive and respond to calls

•             To liaise with clients, brokers and other third parties

•             To issue proposals and RFPs as required

•             To issue consulting services deliverables


•             At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a security services organisation

•             Competent skills with office-based software; MSOffice, Apple software

•             Fluent Spanish
