Administrative Assistant

 As the Administrative Assistant for our Windsor-Sarnia Branch office, you will be an integral part of our operations team.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling, focusing on ensuring clients receive the best possible coverage with qualified staffing while mitigating open hours and overtime costs
  • Working directly with the Management Team, Mobile Supervisors and Scheduling Coordinator you will provide support with hiring and uniform issuing and inventory control
  • Your great customer service skills allow you to answer phones and greet clients and staff with a manner that shows them that GardaWorld Windsor-Sarnia Branch is the best of the best. Security experience is not required however it is a preferred asset.

What does an Administrative Assistant in Windsor do?

  • Provide customer service and support to visitors and staff - You are the first point of contact.
  • Provide support with hiring and uniform issuing
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, schedules and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Processing account payables/receivables for the branch
  • Scheduling staff and assist with payroll functions
  • Provide back up scheduling when scheduler is on vacation

Qualifications to become a Administrative Assistant in Windsor ?

  • Multitasking and Time Management are key skills required
  • Must be computer savvy, proficient in Office 365, Scheduling Software platforms and be able to produce reports as associated with GardaWorld Systems
  • Understand CBA protocols and procedures, H&S and Business Management manuals
  • Excellent deportment and communication skills
  • Must be an organized self-starter
  • Able to work unsupervised in a fast-paced and stressful environment
