As an Airport Security Guard, there is a high focus on regular patrols, constant security presence, Baggage screening and exceptional customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in an Airport environment

Responsibilities for Airport Security Guard
- Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
- Manage access control
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Providing uniformed, physical security to our client and its customers/visitors
- Checking Bags of the Passengers before departure
- Making the Passengers aware about the protocols at the premises
- Greet and assist general public.
- Conducting daily functions of the security unit including visual deterrent, and report writing/note taking.
- Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis
- Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors
- Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork
Qualifications for Airport Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
- RAIC would be an Asset but not Mandatory
- Has been in Canada for 5 years legally and must be PR or Canadian Citizen
- Has a recent clear criminal record check and Child Abuse check
- Be able to work Weekends and afternoon shifts
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful and fast -paced environment
