As a Commercial Security Guard, there is a high focus on Scheduled Patrolling, De-escalation of situations and Report writing, since you will be working with people all shift, in a Commercial environments .

Responsibilities for Commercial Security Guard
- Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
- Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
- Use G-track devise to conduct 4 patrols per shift.
- Performing External Patrol at the Premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
- Perform environmental checks – water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises etc.
- Contact maintenance for any lighting, heating and other problems.
- Conduct interior patrol of the building according to the schedule.
- Deter criminal activity. Guards may be expected to engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures. security presence.
- Hourly tower tours.
- Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches.
- Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
- Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
- Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
Qualifications for Commercial Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Be good with Technology
- Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
- Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
- Customer service oriented
- Be able to Morning shifts
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
