Door-to-Door Sales Representative – Residential Security Systems

We are seeking motivated and energetic Door-to-Door Sales Representatives to join our growing residential sales team in Winnipeg. This field-based role offers an exciting opportunity to earn uncapped commissions by helping homeowners protect their properties through advanced security, video surveillance, smart home, and monitoring solutions.

As a Door-to-Door Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business through residential canvassing, neighborhood outreach, referrals, and community engagement. You will identify potential customers, build rapport with homeowners, conduct needs assessments, present customized security solutions, and guide prospects through the sales process from initial contact to installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads through door-to-door canvassing in assigned territories.

  • Educate homeowners on residential security systems, video surveillance, smart home technology, and monitoring services.

  • Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Present pricing, promotions, financing options, and service plans.

  • Prepare proposals, negotiate opportunities, and close sales.

  • Coordinate installation scheduling and ensure a smooth customer handoff to operations.

  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and follow-up tasks within the CRM system.

  • Generate referrals and build long-term relationships within local communities.

  • Adhere to company policies, municipal solicitation regulations, and privacy compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in door-to-door sales, field sales, retail sales, telecommunications, security systems, solar, or home services is preferred.

  • Strong communication, prospecting, objection-handling, and closing skills.

  • Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently outdoors.

  • Experience using CRM and mobile sales tools is an asset.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Compensation & Opportunity

  • 100% commission-based compensation.

  • Average earnings of $500–$700+ per sale with uncapped earning potential.
