We are looking for Part-Time  Security guard to work in the Industrial sector in Winnipeg. As a member of the GardaWorld team, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of client assets, tenants and visitors to the assignment area in a professional and courteous manner.

What does a Security Guard in Winnipeg do?

• Maintain a safe and Secure environment
• Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
• Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols
• Conduct daily and incident report
• Site patrol, locking and unlocking building, investigating and reporting incidents and hazards. 
• Assist site staff and visitors to ensure safe and secure environment.
• Record all events in the Logbook
• Performing environmental checks – water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises etc.
• Take actions during emergency situations as per Garda world and USB protocols
• Clean snow in the winter time. Inform client if any exit is blocked
• Provide Excellent customer service.

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Winnipeg

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
• Customer service oriented
• Must be able to work Overnights 
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
• Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to the site as the site does not have good bus service
