As a Overnight Academy Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate on site.

• Site parking provided
• Accessible by public transportation
• This site is a work alone site, required to do exterior patrols of facility during shift.

Responsibilities for Overnight Academy Building Security Guard

• Monitor CCTV cameras to ensure the safety and security of the building
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the facility
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity
• Complete daily reports and incident reports as required
• Respond to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
• Assist emergency responders by facilitating building access when required
• Perform environmental checks including water leaks, unusual noises, or airflow issues
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns

Qualifications for Overnight Academy Building Security Guard

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies
• Comfortable working independently in a large building environment
• Experience with CCTV systems and security reporting considered an asset
